I may not be a dog person, but I have to say that the Lucky Lab makes some tasty beer. I’m particularly fond of their Super Dog, a double-hopped IPA with lovely floral/fruity flavors. (For some reason, they don’t list this one on their website.)

Portland has a really large number of microbrews, but they’re truly micro. You won’t find many of them bottled for sale, even in the local supermarkets. Like the Lucky Lab, it seems that most are only available on tap at their brewpub.
